Call for papers

After being held in countries including Germany, China, America and Mexico for over 30 years, in 2023, Valve World travelled to Singapore for the first time! With strong attendance from many countries in the ASEAN region and beyond, the first Valve World Southeast Asia Expo & Conference had made a successful debut in this flourishing market – playing an important role in connecting the supply and demand markets, and established a diverse platform for manufacturers, end users, EPC companies, and third-party institutes to network and form business relationships. In 2025, this biennial event will come to its second edition.

The Conference section aims at the hot topics in the development of the industry, as well as the main challenges faced by players to carry out inter-industry discussions and create a professional communication platform to make business communication more accurate and in depth. The organizer presets various forms of discussion: special lecture, sub-forum discussion, group discussion, interactive Q&A, etc.

How to submit an abstract?

Please send your abstract to the conference coordinator Ms. Laura WANG by e-mail at vwsoutheastasia.conf@kci-world.com. Prospective authors wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract of about 300–400 words and the author’s profile (including a picture) before the 10th of February, 2025, and suggest a few topics for the session that will fit. Mention your name and function, company name and full address details including e-mail address, and the title of the paper. The following selection criteria will apply:

  • quality of the content
  • focus on application experience
  • informative to a wide audience
  • affiliation with the conference subject balance
  • technical nature, i.e. non-commercial

The deadline for abstracts is the 10th of February, 2025. Presenters will be notified by the 1st of April, 2025 as to whether or not their proposed presentation has been accepted by the Steering Committee. Consequently they will be invited to submit the complete manuscript, which will be published on the“ Valve World” journals or websites. The deadline for manuscripts will 4th August, 2025. Presenters will receive a reduction of 25% the conference fee.

While the first Valve World Southeast Asia Conference (2023) was a great success, we missed the participation of women speakers. As women fulfil leading roles in every company, every industry, on every continent, we look forward to women engineers providing valuable input and making a difference at the upcoming 2025 Valve World Southeast Asia Expo & Conference!
